Well, that’s officially the most delusional and unrealistic piece of advice you’ve ever received. Because by doing so and a lot of other similar practices, we are subconsciously programming our brain to avoid the dirty parts of reality and embrace solely the glittery and sugar-coated aspects. When in fact, our heroes, just like us, are human beings who are imperfect, mediocre and deeply flawed. We humans often fail to realize that we can simultaneously be a masterpiece and a work in progress.
Being engaged in affiliate marketing is like earning bucks even when you are not fighting tooth and nail. In other words, affiliate marketing enables a person to get a stream of passive earning. The only job as a affiliate would be to pick up a product from a seller and just promote in an obvious or a subtle way as their wish. Many might have questions about what’s there for the affiliates if someone buys a product which is not even the affiliates own creation?
When I was 5, my mum’s only way to put me to sleep was by telling me different stories or fairy tales or myths. The chaotic child in me would disappear while listening to the stories my mother used to tell. Even the vast majority of people invest in the stock market and it is their main earning source. But the real question is should a student invest in the stock market?
The chapter was written by Ranjit Guha. It discusses the Subaltern Studies in two parts. Both parts have equal importance in discussing and addressing the gap in our history and biased nature of its depiction.
The first part presented before us two very important questions – Is our history really real or just an accumulation of dates? Did the new dimension added by the British really enriched our history or was it all a pretense?
